In this episode we are joined by Dr. Maneesh Sharma, the Dean of the College of Business. Dr. Sharma discusses his road to ERAU, the COB’s new Stackable Courses program, and what makes Embry-Riddle a great place to receive an education. He also offers advice about ways to provide our students an education that holds up in the field and gives insight about the future of higher education.

Dr. Debra Bourdeau & Dr. Beverly Wood join us to talk about Humanistic STEM and the importance of elevating the Humanities in the STEM field. They discuss what led them to collaborate across disciplines to develop HUMN 333 and how all of our faculty can take small steps to integrate the Humanities into their own courses. 

This month we talk to Embry-Riddle Worldwide’s Dean of Students, Pablo Alvarez. October marks the one year anniversary of the Virtual Environment for Communication: Teaching, Outreach, and Research (VECTOR). To commemorate this milestone we speak with VECTOR’s Interim Director Alex Rister, and Assistant Director Dr. Meghan Velez. Alex and Meghan reflect on a successful first year and discuss the many resources VECTOR has available to students and instructors alike.
